Johnson can bring any film to life, from major movie franchises like Fast & Furious and its spin-off Hobbs & Shaw to original action flicks like Skyscraper, Rampage, and San Andreas. It is not bad for a guy who had only seven dollars in his pocket when he started. Johnson is not the only WWE superstar to achieve major success.

1. Dwayne Johnson

The Rock has undoubtedly become one of the highest-paid stars in Hollywood, even though he came to Hollywood directly from professional wrestling. Besides The Scorpion King (2002), Dwayne’s first acting role came in The Mummy Returns (2001). He was also a part of both Fast and Furious and Jumanji. Luke Hobbs from Fast and Furious was his most successful box office role. In animated films, he has sung as well as acted in action and comedy flicks.

In the upcoming DC film Black Adam, the actor-turned-wrestler will also enter the world of superheroes. The fact that Johnson has been in movies that have grossed more than $3 billion in North America and over $10 billion worldwide, without a doubt, puts him at the top of this list. A professional wrestler can be the most profitable actor of all time, but he can be the highest-grossing actor in any field.

2. John Cena

In his peak years, Cena has enjoyed a very successful run in movies. He is known in the ring as Mr. P. As a man of many talents, John Cena is one of the best. In addition to being a 15-time WWE Champion, he stands out in and out of the ring. Despite appearing in a lot of action films, he receives most of his attention in comedic films. From The Marine to 12 Rounds, Ferdinand to Trainwreck (where Cena’s small role was called a scene-stealer), and Blockers, Cena blazed through his opponents in the squared circle. The pro-wrestler has come a long way from shaking his hands over his face and declaring, “You can’t see me!” But it might very well be his action role in Bumblebee, the sixth installment in the Transformers series.

3. Steve Austin

During his WWE career, Steve Austin made waves for his bold and confident personality, as well as his respectable performance in the ring.
