The Working at Heights Program is formed for workers who may do construction-related activities and at times be needed to work at heights where fall protection is required. The Working At Heights Training Mississauga is approved by the Labour Department and the program gives workers and supervisors the mandatory knowledge required to safely work at heights and prevent fall-related accidents. Participants will be instructed on how to properly choose, supervise, maintain, and use a wide variety of fall protection constituents and systems.

This program includes a hands-on demonstration of equipment and techniques to ensure learners can successfully inspect and use the required fall protection equipment.

Certification

Working at heights training program is commonly valid for three (3) years from the date of successful completion of an approved course. For all entrants who wish to maintain the validity of their training, it is significant to complete refresher training also.

Employees have the right to know

Employers must train their employees on instructions on confined space rescue requirements for labels and data sheets, information on how goods may affect the operators’ health or safety, and be trained in safe work techniques. It is the employer duty to provide all pitfall information from vendors to the worker and makes them aware of the menaces. What Is WHMIS?

This program taught in a classroom setting, furnish you with the knowledge and skills required to safely navigate around precarious materials, how to accurately identify and label materials, and how to prevent and protect yourself from possible accidents. A certificate is given upon the completion of the classroom training and students will receive a training/reference manual at the end of the course.

Some perilous substances may be exempt from certain WHMIS requirements such as labels and safety data sheets. These elements are generally regulated by other legislation. Regardless of these exemptions, engineers who work with or may be exposed to a high-risk product in the course of their work shall receive training on their hazards and in the safe use, managing, and storage procedures. Safety data sheets shall also be kept in the work atmosphere and given to the health and safety committee.
