Holiday Destinations during Your Private Villa Party in Ibiza

Ibiza is famous throughout the world for its noisy parties and raves until dawn which attracts tourists from all over the world. However, contrary to entrenched stereotypes, they are attracted not only by hot dances but also by the opportunity to relax and admire the views of the secluded resorts of the island. We have put together a guide to the trendiest Ibiza holiday destinations that you can visit while on your Ibiza vacation.

The sights of Ibiza are quite enough. You can walk around the Old Town, look at the yachts on the port, and there you can also see street performances for tourists. You can also go to a hippie fair.

Dalt Vila (Old Town) is definitely not something to pass by. In addition to the fact that this place is included in the UNESCO list, it truly contains many cultural heritage sites. Here you can walk around the port. Find the bustling and deserted maze of streets lined with souvenir shops, art galleries and restaurants. And finally, just walk admiring the ancient architecture of the city.

The next attraction in the Old City is the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary. Necropolis del Puig des Molins is the oldest cemetery in Ibiza. There is also an archaeological museum. The ancient fortress of Castel of Ibiza is located on a mountain with an impeccable landscape.

The best and largest beach in Ibiza is Playa D’en Bossa with numerous bars to celebrate on the white-hot sand. The traffic on the beach in the high season is incredibly high. Therefore, getting into good seats and free sun loungers is a rarity.  Las Salinas is a more glamorous beach with golden sand, where only celebrities and oligarchs relax: a very trendy place where you can have a very tasty meal. This is the perfect place for surfing and snorkeling.

What to try in Ibiza? Of course – paella! There are several thousand types of different paella with seafood and with chicken and just with squid. This is a truly vibrant dish that is perfect for dinner for the whole family. Then you can diversify your lunch with some extraordinary pizza, for example with truffles or artichokes. Also don’t forget about tasty traditional majorquin bread, which is baked in Ibiza. It is served with sauce and does not contain salt. There are different types of it: with lives, oil and tomatoes, cheese and even Spanish sausages. And of course tapas snacks – with vegetables, seafood, herbs, meat or poultry.

If you are in Ibiza, this is already a great holiday. And besides the fact that the holiday reigns every day in the clubs, there are also a couple of interesting holidays. One of the most original is the “Melon Battle” celebrated on August 8 by the whole island and symbolizes the victory over the Moorish army in 1235. So wear shorts with a T-shirt and go ahead to beat each other with melons.  In December you can get to the wine festival, usually in the first week of the month. The tasting takes place everywhere. So be careful not to try everything at once.

The New Year holiday is noisy and cheerful in many clubs. And then there is a funny tradition. While the clock strikes the chime, you must have time to eat 12 grapes and make 12 wishes. They say everything will come true!
