Meet Dr. Eliran Mor, MD – Medical Director of California Center for Reproductive Health

Dr. Eliran Mor is a board-certified physician in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has been licensed in the state of California since 2001. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tel Aviv-Sackler College of Medicine, before completing a 4-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He also completed a 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California and is a Clinical Instructor at USC. Dr. Mor currently serves as the Medical Director of the California Center for Reproductive Health, which has three offices throughout Southern California. These offices are located in Encino, West Hollywood, and Valencia.

Eliran Mor, MD is also a member of a variety of prestigious medical associations and is in excellent standing with each of them. Some of the organizations he belongs to are: the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS), the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS), and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). In addition to his state medical license, Dr. Mor is also licensed by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

As a member of the larger medical community, Dr. Mor is committed to staying aware of the latest treatments and techniques in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Mor strives to attend at least two meetings or conferences per year where he learns from colleagues and peers firsthand. He is committed to only adding medical treatments to the California Center for Reproductive Health that he has personally vetted and determined to be helpful and safe.

In addition to his attendance at these meetings and conferences, Dr. Mor has co-presented abstracts at different events across the United States. These abstracts cover a range of issues that are of specific interest to Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians. One of his abstracts entitled,  “Defective autophosphorylation of the insulin receptor (APIR): A potential mechanism of insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS),” was awarded the Fellowship Research Prize Paper Award by the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. It was presented in 2003 at the 59th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. Another abstract entitled, “Insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome: Clinical implications of fasting glucose and insulin levels” received the Frank Lynch Memorial Essay Award. This abstract was presented at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society in September of 2003 in Anchorage, Alaska.

A key tenet of Dr. Mor’s practice is his belief in listening to patients and providing them with all of the necessary information to make informed decisions about their own care and treatment. Dr. Mor was recognized as a Most Compassionate Doctor by the American Registry. This compassion extends past the exam room to encompass the entire California Center of Reproductive Health. As the medical director, Eliran Mor, MD strives to create a safe space for everyone including transgender patients and patients that are members of the LGBTQIA community.

Dr. Mor is also a highly-engaged physician when working with individuals and families that may be struggling to start or expand their families. All consultations, after-hour inquiries, pelvic examinations, ultrasound examinations, diagnostic procedures, assisted reproductive procedures (egg retrievals, embryo transfers…), and surgical procedures, if needed, will be performed by Dr. Mor. Involvement in every aspect of his patients’ fertility care and complete micromanagement of their treatment makes Dr. Mor the ideal partner on the road to pregnancy.
