How is the camera quality in Huawei p9 Smartphone?

There is no lack of the ‘Perfect Selfie’ mode that “beautifies” us, and this time it is also transferable to video. There is also a flash mode that is done with the light from the screen.

Panoramas

Panoramas are one of the best-resolved modes on the P9, and with few rivals on the market. They come out easy and strange areas rarely appear with the joints. It is also quite effective with the areas where the exposure is changed. The resulting files go above 22 megapixels if the shot is vertically, and we go to 30 megapixels in the 180 degree horizontal sweeps.

Night mode

There is an “auto” option that determines the time necessary for a good shot. It makes excellent images, which can take up to 30 seconds, which is the maximum programmable time. The photos that result in this way are 8 megapixels.

No 4K in the video

The video quality is average, especially in good light, and as long as we talk about 1080p at 60 images per second. We can go down to 720p by increasing the speed to 120 images per second. There is not as much detail as we have in photo, the dynamic range is fair, and the continuous autofocus is a bit clunky. There is no 4K mode on this phone, which sounds weird for a model that wants to be important when it comes to the camera. Possibly it has to do with the ability of the hardware to handle this amount of information with guarantees.
