  1. Troy Brown to Chicago Bulls

Brown’s move to the Bulls heralds a useful transfer for the side. Brown is a decent point-forward and made good averages during his time with the Washington Wizards. The player adds a level of versatility to the Bulls which will stand them in good stead for the playoffs.

Brown helps to balance out the various options for different plays, helping the Bulls to react to various situations.

  1. Jrue Holliday to Milwaukee Bucks

Holliday’s move during the off-season to the Bucks has strengthened their backline, with the defender showing vast experience and ability. He is also an effective backup in offence.

Holliday looks like giving the Bucks a good chance of a decent run in the playoffs. The Bucks have been impressive in recent weeks, with Holliday bringing dexterity and skill to the line-up.

  1. JJ Redick to Dallas Mavericks.

Redick’s move to the Mavs from the New Orleans Pelicans is an intriguing one for the playoffs. He is a playoffs veteran and will add his experience to the relatively untested team.

Redick has shown strength in recent games but the chances of the Mavericks reaching the playoffs is uncertain.

  1. Evan Fournier to Celtics

In Fournier, Boston Celtics have got themselves a player who can spread the play around the court. The playmaker is enjoying his best season, with a strong performance for Orlando.

The Celtics will be hoping that the player will be able to translate this in their own chances of making the playoffs.

  1. Norman Powell to Trail Blazers

The Trailblazers are by no means certain to make the playoffs, but they have done their chances the world of good by signing Powell.

The player had a fantastic season at the Toronto Raptors, so good in fact that the Raptors decided they could not afford to re-sign him.

This has been of huge benefit to the Portland Trail Blazers, who have already witnessed the playoff potential of Powell. He recently showed something of his best, helping his side win against Memphis Grizzlies.

  1. P.J. Tucker to Bucks

The move of Tucker from the Rockets to the Bucks signals a strong development for the Milwaukee Bucks. Already looking like a solid bet for a good run in the playoffs, Tucker offers them even more in the way of formidable defence.

He also adds versatility in offence, with the expertise needed to score points from corner shots and set up teammates.

  1. Torrey Craig to Phoenix Suns

The Suns are enjoying a great season so far. Craig provides them with even more strength and depth. The forward options of the side are boosted by the move, with Craig recently showing attacking skills as well as defensive awareness.

With the Phoenix Suns making the playoffs for the first time in over a decade, Craig has made a big impact straight away.

  1. Nikola Vucevic to Bulls

The Bulls certainly hope that Vucevic will drive them forward to the playoffs. It looks like a reasonable bet, with the attacker linking up with Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine to great effect.

Vucevic has shown his strength and potential in recent games and will be a significant part of the Bulls’ chances. With such a powerful attack force in these three attackers, the Bulls are making a concerted effort to make the playoffs. If they do, it might well be thanks to Vucevic’s move.

  1. Rajon Rondo to Clippers

Rondo’s move to LA promises an experienced defender who can guard and play the ball expertly. Despite some recent disappointing results, the Clippers look to have made a good signing in Rondo.

Since starring in a debut win over the Lakers, he has emerged as a powerful presence on the court. He could be integral to the team’s chances in the playoffs.

The Clippers are strongly tipped to enjoy a successful playoff, and could even go all the way to the championship. Rondo is bound to be an important factor if this is to be the case.

1 . Aaron Gordon to Denver Nuggets.

Gordon’s transfer is possibly the biggest move of the trading window.

The 25-year-old forward has enjoyed a successful season for the Magic with an average of 14.6 points and 4.2 assists.

Since moving to Denver, Gordon’s averages are slightly down while he is settling in, but his overall efficiency and team play is up.

The signing helped for a strong finish to the regular season. The Nuggets look well placed for a strong run in the playoffs, with Gordon playing an important part.

A successful transfer can reignite a team’s form to make them a good bet for the playoffs. NBA fans will be looking on in interest to see how these notable transfer deals will affect the overall outcome.
